Considered one of the last great American entrepreneurs by his five-year old niece, Charles traded in his Computer Science degree for a film camera and a “Charles Tinsley Film & Video” business card.

After answering his parent’s question, “We sent you to private school for this?”, Charles entered the world of cinematography where his friends were quick to say, “We always knew he had an eye for radio.”

Over 15 years later, Tinsley Film & Video which specializes in digital acquisition, is still financially sound and with the creation of Thoughtstream Media, Charles continues to close the gap between gross profits and the cost of his prep school education. Asked why he never pursued a career in Computer Science, Charles responded, “Well, I sort of lost interest when I found out I wouldn’t be dissecting any frogs.”
